On September 19-20, 2026, the Larry DeLawder Family Ministries were back at Little Falls Chapel for a Saturday evening of music and testimony and a Sunday morning of worship. Both services are on this page.

Saturday evening, September 19

Pastor Linda Reese welcomed a full room, some of them seeing the family for the first time, and opened in prayer. Larry introduced his wife, Sarah, and their daughter, Faith, then got things going with harmonica, gospel songs and, since he’d shown up in a deputy’s uniform, his Barney Fife impression.

Larry also talked about living by faith on the road. The ministry doesn’t get a paycheck. One church might give a hundred dollars and the next a thousand, and they never know ahead of time. When their old motor home was falling apart, the Lord provided another. He said he doesn’t worry at the gas pump anymore, because God has always supplied the need.

Then he got to the heart of it. “I’m always going to be this way, so why try?” is a lie. We will fall down. When we do, we tell the Lord we’re sorry, get back up, brush ourselves off and keep going. “For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth” (Hebrews 12:6, KJV). That isn’t a mean God. It’s a Father saying, come on, you can do this. He pointed to the woman who asked Jesus to heal her daughter. When Jesus tested her, she didn’t take offense. She said, “yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their masters’ table” (Matthew 15:27), and she went home with her answer.

Pastor Linda closed the night with a story from the day before. On the highway near Inwood, a tractor-trailer cut across her lane with another big truck right behind her, and somehow she came through without a scratch. She asks God every Sunday to put angels around everyone’s vehicles. “Take your angels with you,” she said.

Sunday morning, September 20

Sunday felt like a family reunion. Pastor Linda thanked God for the night before and gave the Holy Spirit freedom in the service. The family led a morning of worship with songs about the goodness of God, the great I Am and the name of Jesus.

Larry taught on worship itself. Coming to church and giving are forms of worship, but real worship puts God first. Instead of coming to Him with a list of “I need, bless me,” come to bless Him and exalt His name, and your needs get met along the way. The service closed with prayer that no one would leave the same way they came, but encouraged, uplifted and ready to worship Him all week long.
