Walking into a church for the first time can feel like a lot. Here’s what a Sunday morning at Little Falls Chapel is really like, so nothing catches you off guard. For the time, parking and directions, see Plan Your Visit.

When you arrive

Doors open at 9:30, and worship starts at 10:00. It’s a small church, so you won’t get lost, and someone will say hello. Pastor Linda puts it this way: “After the first time visiting here, you’re no longer a visitor. You are part of the church.”

How the service goes

Most Sundays follow the same simple order, though Pastor Linda is quick to say the Holy Spirit sometimes changes it:

  • We open in prayer
  • We sing a few congregational songs
  • We share prayer requests and pray for them
  • We take up an offering
  • Pastor Linda brings the message

The music might be piano, organ or a worship CD, depending on the day. Worship wraps up by 11:00.

The message

Pastor Linda Reese has led Little Falls Chapel since 1997. Her messages are plain, practical and full of Scripture, often working through the Bible book by book. You can watch or read recent messages before you come.

Communion and baptism

We share communion from time to time. The Scriptures on communion are read first, and taking part is always your choice. If you’d like to be baptized, talk with Pastor Linda and we’ll arrange it with you.

Bringing children

Children are welcome to sit with their families, and a small nursery room is available for parents who need a quiet space (unstaffed).

What to wear

Come as you are. There’s no dress code.

We’d love to meet you. Plan your visit, or send us a question first.
