If you’ve never been to Little Falls Chapel, you might wonder what worship is like. It’s simple and heartfelt: a small congregation singing, praying and opening the Bible together. Here’s what to expect.
Singing together
We sing congregational songs, many of them hymns from the hymnbook, like “When We All Get to Heaven.” Depending on the day, the music comes from the piano, the organ or a worship CD. Nobody is performing. We’re simply singing to the Lord together.
Prayer is at the center
We open in prayer, and during the service we share prayer requests and pray for each one. Pastor Linda is quick to say that sometimes the Holy Spirit changes the order of things, and we’re glad to follow His lead.
The order of a Sunday
- We open in prayer
- We sing a few congregational songs
- We share prayer requests
- We take up an offering
- Pastor Linda brings a message from the Bible
Worship starts at 10:00 AM (doors open 9:30) and wraps up by 11:00. The psalmist wrote, “O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the LORD our maker” (Psalm 95:6, KJV). That’s the heart of a Sunday here.
Come worship with us
Come as you are. There’s no dress code and no pressure. Plan your visit, read what your first Sunday is like, or watch a recent service first.
